These custom guitars mark the debut of an exclusive arrangement between the legendary artist Gerald Scarfe and Animazing Gallery. The results are stunning hand painted guitars featuring images from Pink Floyd’s The Wall.
The following two instruments were built in the famed Lynn Ellsworth custom shop.
The unpainted guitars were then sent to Mr. Scarfe to be individually and meticulously hand painted into masterful works of art, and are now ready to play.
Another Brick in the Wall: Hand Painted Electric Guitar
Gerald Scarfe
Stratocaster style electric guitar, featuring an Alder body SSS (3 single coil pickups) seymour Duncan pickups designed to match David Gilmour sound with Gilmour specific wiring modifications. E.g., when mini toggle switch is on, it blends the neck pickup into positions 1 and 2. This unlocks the bridge and neck combination as well as all 3 pickups simultaneously. The custom made control cavity cover is made of wood.
All chrome hardware. 2-point tremolo bridge with oversized tremolo block for enhanced sustain and resonance.
The 21-fret neck is Maple with a rosewood fingerboard. Modern C profile with 12” radius and 11/16” nut width.
Hand signed by the legendary Gerald Scarfe.
Includes a premium Hiscox hard shell case.
Another Brick in the Wall: Hand Painted Telecaster Style Electric Guitar
Gerald Scarfe
Telecaster style electric guitar featuring a single cutaway Alder body. It has one boutique single coil pickup with one volume and one single tone control knob. The custom made control cavity plate is made of wood.
All black hardware.
The 22-fret neck is Maple with a Maple fingerboard.
Modern C profile, 12” radius and 11/16” nut width.
Hand painted and signed by the legendary Gerald Scarfe.
Includes a premium Hiscox hard shell case.
