This guitar body was hand-made by Lynn Ellsworth from Black Limba, or as Gibson calls it; Korina. It is the same wood as Gibson’s Flying V and the same great tone. The finish on this guitar is truly one of a kind. It is a 3 dimensional alligator skin is made from an epoxy based product that has a brilliant blue color with purple highlights. The finish on this guitar took 10 hours of labor, as a result, this was the only one we made because it was not cost effective. The 22-fret Hard Rock Maple Neck was also hand-made by Lynn Ellsworth from the early “Boogie Bodies” days. It has a motif and Boogie Bodies on the headstock. The hard-tail Telecaster Style Bridge is chrome. It has 2 hum buckers that are controlled by 1 volume knob, 1 tone knob and a 3-way toggle switch.
